Backorder Policy

What is a Backorder?

When you place an order for a product listed as back-ordered (or advised as back-ordered due to low inventory), our process is to charge your credit card or PayPal account immediately. This approach helps us manage the fulfillment delay and ensures that:

  • Avoiding Payment Issues: Your product won't be delayed due to unintentional changes in payment information, which could otherwise cause frustrating delays in receiving your order.

  • Preventing Fraud: It also helps us prevent any attempts at fraudulent orders by ensuring that valid payment information is provided upfront.

  • Protecting Your Financial Information: By processing your payment at the time of order, we limit the handling of your sensitive financial information, reducing the risk of potential fraud.

This backorder protocol is designed to avoid costly delays, cancellations, and rerouting, and it helps us maintain competitive pricing for you, our valued customer. We appreciate your understanding and patience with any backorder you may place with us.

While Waiting...

If you accidentally placed a backorder or wish to explore other options, you can:

  • Review Alternatives: Explore other similar products on our site. If you find an alternative you'd like, place a new order and contact us immediately to refund your original order.

  • Cancel Your Order: If your back-ordered item hasn't shipped yet, you can cancel your order and receive a full refund. Please email us at support@resideterra.com with your cancellation request. You can also inquire about inventory availability for future orders.

Please allow at least four (4) business days for your credit card company to process the refund.

Unless we hear otherwise from you via a written email request, we will assume you wish to keep your order active until the product becomes available for shipment. We will continue working closely with the manufacturer to fulfill your order as soon as possible and will provide you with updates on freight and tracking information as soon as we receive them.
