Description

The Mentor is Elina Pilates' professional aluminum reformer. Its anodized aluminum frame rides on steel feet, lighter to reposition than the wooden Master Instructor while carrying the same class of hardware: a carriage on eight polyurethane wheels with high-precision bearings, six springs, and a quick-release footbar with 7 positions that also slides horizontally along the frame. A mini tower with adjustable pulleys comes in the bundle, so spring and band work above the carriage is covered without a separate purchase. The machine is rated for users up to 330.7 lb (150 kg).

Daily-use details carry over from the flagship line: retractable cords store under the carriage, the bed damping mechanism adjusts in 4 positions to absorb abrupt impacts, and integrated front wheels let one person move the machine. The spring bar fixes at 2 heights to combine resistances.

Choose the Mentor for a studio or committed home setup that prefers metal over wood. If you want the look of maple or beech instead, the Master Instructor and Lignum are the wooden routes in this range.
