The Master Instructor Physio is the rehabilitation variant of Elina Pilates' flagship wooden reformer. The frame is American maple sealed with waterproof varnish, and the bed sits at 23.62" (60 cm), high enough for a physical therapist to work with a client from a standing or seated position at the side. A mini tower with adjustable pulleys and spring hooks is part of the machine, extending the repertoire toward assisted and supported work.

Mechanics match the standard Master Instructor: a quick-release footbar with 7 positions that also travels horizontally along the frame, six springs on a fixed spring bar with 3 height options, a retractable rope system that stores the ropes under the carriage, and an adjustable bed damping mechanism that softens hard carriage returns. The machine is rated for users up to 330.7 lb (150 kg) and arrives semi-assembled for setup without professional help.

This is the model for physiotherapy practices, rehab work, and clients with reduced mobility who need an accessible bed height. For a conventional studio or home setup, the standard Master Instructor with its 15.75" (40 cm) bed is the usual choice.
