Description

The Classic is Elina Pilates' tribute to the original Joseph Pilates reformer, built on an 86" anodized aluminum frame with the details that define classical equipment: natural leather straps instead of ropes, wooden handles, and a set of four traditional springs on a 3-position spring bar. The carriage runs on eight polyurethane wheels with high-precision bearings, so the glide is modern even though the proportions and feel are classical. The bundle ships with the padded box, jump board, and foot platform.

At 110 lb (50 kg) it is roughly half the weight of the brand's wooden Elite, which makes it the easiest full-size Elina reformer to relocate at home. Choose it if you train or teach the classical repertoire and want the leather-strap feel. If you want color-graded springs in five or six resistances and a quick-release footbar, the Elite is the better tool.
